Relic Codes

The Four Codes

The Relic Code series is a sacred textile project that uses the four elements to turn private histories into physical symbols for healing and release. Here is a description of each piece and the meaning behind their symbols:

FIRE — The Code of Contained Flames & Lineage Breakage

relic code1

The Imagery: You’ll see a paraffin bottle with a flame and a half-moon burning inside it, a cactus, and broken chains falling away from the outside of the bottle.
The Meaning: This represents inner transformation and the release of generational baggage. The bottle shows fire that is intense but contained, the cactus represents beauty paired with protection, and the falling chains symbolize the ongoing effort to break “inherited blockages”.

EARTH — The Code of Grounding & Self-Guidance

relic code2

The Imagery: This design incorporates a beehive, stalks of wheat, stacked stones, and feathers.
The Meaning: It is about building your own stability. The hive provides structure, the wheat represents your personal growth or “harvest,” and the stacked stones are about finding emotional balance. The feathers represent a sense of weightlessness, even when carrying a heavy past.

WATER — The Code of Memory & Fragmentation

relic code3

The Imagery: This piece features symbols like a uterus, fish, fishbones, shifting moon phases, and spilled water.
The Meaning: It represents “quiet histories” of interrupted life cycles and emotional questioning. The imagery captures the tension between the fragility of life and the way it continues through “shifting tides”.

AIR — The Code of Alignment & Ancestral Identity

relic code4

The Imagery: The symbols include empty lungs, chakra points, and four protea flowers.
The Meaning: This piece is about breathing again and realigning your energy. The empty lungs show a release of weight, while the chakras mark a new internal balance. The four proteas represent different ancestral lines, with one standing out to show a strong personal connection to heritage.
These pieces together act as a visual ritual, giving a physical form to experiences that are often too deep for words alone.
